Demon Superior is a sort of family affair – the brainchild of the internationally acclaimed Eastern-European producer wizard Balazs Zságer and his younger brother (members of the Zagar band). On their myspace site they claim to be playing fashion-electro, which really says it all. Demon Superior create their own post-modern dance music with a refreshingly unique attitude using bits and pieces from soviet child-choir and forgotten Eastern European cartoons. Besides their own tracks, their live acts are flavoured with powerful reworks (Falco, David Bowie, Edith Piaf, Krafwerk..etc.)
It's pretty edgy and wistfully nostalgic at the same time: Just like you've pushed a time machine's buttons and suddenly find yourself at a fancy revue with E.T., Les Maîtres du temps and Tron, all arguing over a Rubic Cube.
On their first promo single there are two tracks: the “Putto's Kisses” - influenced by a soviet cartoon stuff, and a cover version of The Beatles - Taxman.Their first release is a remix of the Žagar's hit single “Wings of Love”, it is released in 2009 autumn worldwide on the German label, Mole Listenig Pearls.
A Demon Superior Zságer Balázs és öccse, Ákos legújabb agyszüleménye. A Zagar zenekarból ismert két zenész maguk és a partyközönség szórakoztatására hozta létre ezt a formációt, hogy szabadjára engedjék a bennük rejlő fölényes pop- démonokat és görbe tükröt állítsanak az éppen aktuális divatzenék elé. A saját számaik mellett kedvenceiket dolgozzák át egyfajta friss, extravagáns attitűddel és posztmodern tánczenét varázsolnak olyan előadók számaiból mint Jimi Hendrix, David Bowie, Edith Piaf, Falco, KFT vagy a legendás Neurotic.
Az első promo maxijukon a szovjet rajzfimzene ihletésü “Putto's Kisses” és a The Beatles- Taxman c. feldolgozás hallható. Egy remix erejéig újragondolták az anyazenekar eddig legnagyobb slágerét, és a “Wings of Love” -ból is készítettek egy táncos átiratot, a remix idén ősszel debütál világszerte a német Mole Listenig Pearls kiadó gondozásában.
